As a communication network owned by banking industry participants SWIFT offers standard and secure messaging through private network solutions to nearly 10 thousand financial institutions worldwide. Participants of the SWIFT network include banks, brokers, investment advisers and their treasury, payment, trading and clearing systems.
Since November 2002 KELER is a full member of the Hungarian SWIFT network and offers to its Clients SWIFT connection possibility in ISO15022 format. Owing to the attributes of the VIBER system KELER Ltd. communicates with the Magyar Nemzeti Bank also in the SWIFT network, which accelerates and increases the security of OTC clearing executed by KELER and related financial postings.
