As we informed you earlier, on September 29 2017, KELER submitted its application for re-authorization under CSDR, the EU regulation concerning the operation of CSDs, to the National Bank of Hungary as a competent supervisory body.
This is a significant milestone in KELER's life and for the European capital market, which ensures KELER's further compliance with European standards among central securities depositories. Therefore, we consider informing our Clients about the impacts of CSDR as a high priority.
Accordingly, we have prepared the attached briefing paper, which contains information published in the middle of September on the impact of CSDR's actions on our customers, but also provides important additional information on the effects on the operation of KELER.
